Sitting in a town hall with some local RDs for the state Dems for all of the statewide primary candidates. Collin O'Mara is probably seen as 3rd out of the 3 options in terms of chances of winning the primary since he's relatively unknown compared to the other two candidates. But pretty sure he's gonna end up getting my vote. Seems to be very big on progressivism and pushing the state party left. Reading between the lines of his little speech here, he was definitely taking some shots at Carney for not going as far left as the state legislature has moved recently.

Forreal though, I wonder what effect Trump's plans would have on a product like JIF which is American made. 10% tariff on all foreign goods wouldn't directly effect it, but I imagine the costs of transporting the product could go up?

I've had to start buying the market basket brand cheez-its but the thing is they are awesome they are so much better than the name brand cheez-its which taste like shit now there was traffic on my ride home today I'll probably vote for trump

 

....that being said, Matt Meyer's accomplishments as NCC executive have been pretty damn impressive tbh. And he's a former teacher who seems to be heavily invested in getting teachers paid better in this state. And he's not not progressive, he just seems to be not flaunting progessivism like O'Mara is.

This is an actual tough choice for a Dem primary here, which are usually somewhat boring or obvious.

TBH the Sarah McBride vs. Eugene Young race is tough too. I personally know Sarah casually and she's pretty cool but is def running more moderate than I've seen her run before. And Eugene Young is just a cool ass dude who has done a lot of community work.

 

Oh man, I know what I'm trying at my next grocery shop haha. But.. does Market Basket have white cheddar, the greatest cheezit flavor of all time?

 

I'm actually not sure to be honest - they probably do though because market basket is fucking awesome
