Hahah. Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'll have my car so I might look to stay a short drive outside of the city in a hotel with decent parking.

If you are thinking of staying outside of the city do know that driving in Boston is miserable and a pain in the ass

 

I live in Jersey and do the Hudson crossings enough to know shitty traffic lol. Part of the reason I want to do stuff on Thursday and Friday as opposed to Saturday and Sunday

 

So booked one night at "A Friendly Inn at Harvard" in Cambridge and another night at Revere. Thinking of staying either near Salem or in Portland on my last night (Sat).

I looked into potential shows. Anyone here going to Temples or Cass McCombs next week?

What kinda winter boots yall wear? I'm planning on finally investing on a good pair of snow boots

 

Bought a pair of Timberlands two winters ago when we had the endless blizzards, super happy with them. Don't really like the look of Bean Boots, and Timberlands are waterproof, have grippy soles, and look great imo

 

We talking the classic timberland boots or a specific winter boot? I was actually eying a few of theirs

 

I may get a pair of Timbs if I like them enough, my current boots are not waterproof at all

 

my black timbs are the best purchase i have made in ages.

Pretty cool event Christian of the Hotelier is playing this weekend. Unfortunately I'm in NYC to see Waitress on Saturday. From the event page:

Totally random but I apparently won passes to see the Fray at one of Mix 104.1's "Mix Lounges" this afternoon, haha. Add it to the concert list, I guess?
