I honestly do not think there is a political figure in this country that I absolutely disdain quite in the way I disdain Hillary Clinton. Just the absolute pure smugness and arrogance she exudes every time she opens her mouth.

 

Oh and in this she blames Arafat rejecting her husband's Camp David peace deal in 2000 as the reason for continued violence.

Arafat rejected it because it was an absolute shit deal that basically would haven gave them sovereignty in name only while making them a neo-colonial vassal state of Israel, where the latter controlled their airspace, maintained the right to deploy troops whenever they liked, Israel would retain control of West Bank's water resources, Palestine would have to completely demilitarize, Palestine couldn't make alliances with foreign nation's without Israeli approval. All the land Palestine would gain in proposed landswap was basically infertile. Also Independent Palestine under this deal would separated into multiple isolated disconnected regions that were basically akin to SA Apartheid Bantustans.

 

In retrospect, even though Trump winning was a very bad thing, neither can I deny that the image of Hillary Clinton looking like someone pissed in her cornflakes was satisfying to see.

 

The pro Israel side says the conflict has been going on for 1,000 years but sure it’s the pro Palestinian side that doesn’t know history
