So I just got my son a PS5. For him it’s going to be an expensive over powered Fortnite machine. I haven’t really been into games in about 15 years, besides some Nintendo franchises. What should I check out to get something out of this PS5 for me? My only no goes are first person shooters… always hated those. Was never super big into RPGs but I’m open to it.

Note: I will probably play whatever you recommend for like 2 hours a week before putting it down and not touching it for a year. Just how I am with games these days. I still buy every console but no games lol it just sits there but at least now my son gets to enjoy it but he’s still young so it’s Fortnite/Minecraft/Rocket League for him

I know the head at Lyon disparaged this sentiment, but I immediately thought of the immersive sim curse when I saw the news. I know Redfall isn't an immersive sim but when you already make a certain type of game that doesn't make money at all, releasing a disaster isn't going to help you in the slightest. I know Lyon is working on Blade at the moment, but I'm honestly surprised they weren't shut down as well.

 

Sincerely, in the year of our lord 2024 who gives a fuck about Blade
