Pretty sure they played to around 250ish people a few years back in the UK. That was a special show...

That show had an incredibly stacked lineup if I'm remember correctly

They played nothing but small clubs (<500 cap) during their two-week summer '09 run. There were also the one-off dates around the discog shows at small clubs in 2013.

But, playing to that few of people in a venue that holds 5,500 is a new one. Not sure how they misjudged their pull in the area that much.

They played the Bell House in Brooklyn in 2013 which is like 300 max.

Yeah, I remember they played The Grog Shop in Cleveland in 2009 (500 cap) and couldn't get tickets. I was FUMING mad.

My point was to your second point here. To play a large venue, and only have that small amount of people show up I find hard to believe. In most instances, the promoters would switch the venue to a smaller place.

Just in case anyone hasn't seen the video from where they got the clips playing on their backdrop for this tour

Side comment: But I saw BN last night for their halloween show, and we weren't allowed to bring our TDAG masks into the venue. They were even selling them in the venue but if you bought them you had to keep them in the box the whole night or they'd be confiscated. I understand, no masks for safety reasons, but it seems a little silly to not let people wear these masks you've been hawking specifically related to halloween/TDAG anniversary and not let people use them the one place/time it makes sense to.

it was probably more on the venue than the band.

When I originally called the venue at 4pm they said masks would be fine, then I got there with mine in my bag and they said I had to take them to my car (too bad I didn't have a car and had ubered from my hotel). Apparently it got changed in the production meeting at 4:30pm. Sounded more like it was on the band than the venue to me.

Not sure if you're talking about me attempting to record the Michigan show or not. If so, my recording turned out to be decently listenable and I'm gonna send it to the person who runs the Brand New Live bootleg site whenever I get my lazy butt motivated... Lol

How long until they play through the album starting with Welcome to Bangkok

How long until they play one song per concert? Like they play Sowing Season like 15 times with an encore of Sowing Season one night. The next they do the same with Millstone. They play the full album over multiple days.

When Brand New calls it quits in 2018, @Dirty Sanchez should tell us his first name. I think it'd be a big way to say adios.

Vin starts saying something about it at 6:10 in this video, which is followed by Jesse stopping the song at 7:18:

I'm really glad that he did that since some people at their shows can be super aggressive. Good precedent. I always thought they couldn't notice it cause of the crazy light shows / the absence of lights
