Have Obsidian make it or maybe idk not sure what other good RPG studios they own. Whomever is developing Fable has taken their sweet time with it so definitely won’t be them.

 

I think most people would prefer if Obsidian was the one making Fallout games lol

 

Playground is making fable which if we don’t hear about that this year I’m going to be worried, obsidian is currently working in avowed and the outer worlds 2 right now, Bethesda is pretty much gonna have to figure out how to work on more than one game at a time at some point

 

Hasn't Obsidian shrunk over time? While I know they're already working on Avowed and TOW2 I feel they'd be best suited. But even still, if the game was to start being developed now that game would be far out.

 

I just really don’t understand how they would only be thinking of this now. No matter what happens, it pretty much guarantees the game will be rushed in some way.

 

I have the switch version and it’s playable, obviously the inferior version but yeah they said they’re patching it, technical improvements and all

 

well it would make no sense to give obsidian, a much smaller studio, more projects to focus on than Bethesda who have nearly infinite resources at the end of the day, which is why they’re just gonna have to learn to develop two games at a time or pass it down the river to one of their own subsidiaries like id or arkane but I don’t see that happening

 

Bethesda have seemingly always had a reputation of taking longer on their games than the industry average and that hasn’t changed as the development time of video games has changed so now they take an eternity to put out one title

 

Yeah it's gonna be super interesting to see what happens as I'm sure there's SOME decent development going on into TES6 and I'm pretty sure Bethesda is happy doing these games in alternating cycles because of the sheer amount of dedication and workforce they dedicate to each project. I know MS wants to capitalize but for all we know the show could be on S3 or 4 once TES6 comes out and the pre marketing for FO5 can start.

76 isn't a bad game at all and once these bugs get ironed out, even 4 can keep people entertained. From what few hours I put into it, 60FPS was amazing.

 

I would be surprised to get a fallout 5 during the run of the show depending on how many seasons it gets tbh lol

 

If Bethesda is super worried about the lore and/or future storylines intersecting, they can always explore other options via spinoffs set in other parts of the country in the past! Lol. I really feel this show was a huge hit in the general population, not only us nerds so I can 1000% see spinoffs trying to happen.

 

Yeah a lot of spin-offs will get pitched but few if any will actually get greenlit. We’ll see. I recall Nick Offerman saying something about a last of us spin off about Bill and Frank getting floated but I don’t think he wanted to do it

 

Alright I am taking a break from Skyrim for right now. Did main quest, College of Winterhold, Thieves Guild, Companions, and I went the lazy route and killed The Dark Brotherhood instead of doing their questline. Will do civil war, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn later.

I think I hit a bug because I for the life of me can't cure my werewolfism from the Companions questline, I have all the witches heads but for some reason the Purify quest to get cured won't come up no matter what I do.

 

I haven't posted any Player's Logs from Boundless Trails for a while because I decided to take a break and come back to it.

Maybe it's burnout from having binged the entire Trails series, but I'm willing to hold off on doing my second Boundless run and pick it up later when I'm more inclined.

Currently, I'm playing through hidden-object titles from Artifex Mundi and Five-BN Games, because they're not very taxing and still offer mild brain stimulation. Once upon a time I scoffed at games like this, which I credit to the foolishness of youth, but as someone who grew up on point and click titles, they scratch a certain itch.

The plotlines are kind of eh, but that's not really the point. However, I do have to give the Darkness And Flame series some slight credit, as the first game in the series has a Planet Of The Apes style revelation that the setting is a post-apocalyptic Earth and each new title actually continues the plot, which is not something you typically see in these kinds of games.

Anyway, I want to blow through a bunch of these until I've had my fill.

 

Dark Brotherhood is the best Skyrim side quest line though? tbh I didn't even know you could skip it like that?

 

Yes at the very start of the questline when you get kidnapped and are in the shack where the leader asks you to kill those people, if you kill the Dark Brotherhood leader instead it starts the " Destroy the Brotherhood! " quest where an Imperial commander asks you to sneak in their sanctuary and kill everyone inside for 3000 gold.

I guess it's a sign this game was wearing on me. Didn't feel like doing another long questline and just wanted to get it outta the way lol.

 

you should go through the quest line! it's my favorite, aside from maybe Dawnguard

 

It’s by far the best quest line in the base game it’s fucking wild

 

I also have a real strong warrior one handed/shield/block/heavy armor type build, and I thought DB would be harder because I'd be forced to have to use all skills I suck at. Although it wasn't really an issue for the Thieves Guild stuff.

 

I'd be fine if we didn't get another Bethesda game and let someone else take over their IPs for a while. Bethesda is just such a mess.

 

TES6 is alot further along than people think. And it still won’t come until next gen lmao

I hope ES6 adds some new playable races. I wanna know what the Akaviri, Sea Elves, and Sloads are all about
