People not wanting to even mention Trevor or Goff is weird haha they’re definitely 3 & 4 on that list behind Garrett and Burrow

 

I do think as people talk about it as a whole Baker Mayfield will probably be underrated. He turned the Browns from a laughingstock into a team with personality outside of paper bags and that should be acknowledged.

He's not CLOSE to the top 3 in any way but I do think he deserves recognition for that

Lawrence is 5 for me until further notice but he has a higher ceiling than that obviously

I definitely have him 4th. There's a massive gap between 3 and 4 but he's my 4th.

 

When Baker came into that first Cleveland game I was fired up watching it

 

It took Baker until year 7 to play as well as Trevor did in year 2 so respectfully for me Trevor is my #4

On the other hand most of Baker Mayfield's career were close to equivalent to the Urban Meyer year

If Lawrence gets an excuse for that imagine how many seasons Mayfield gets excuses for

I also think people wrote off what Trevor accomplished in year 2 too soon but we’ll have to see if he has a good year 4 and bounces back. It’s not like having a slump in year 3 is a good thing haha I acknowledge it was concerning

 

In reality I just think it's too soon to include Lawrence OR Walker (or obviously Young) in this list because I think they both have so much room to prove themselves, ESPECIALLY Walker

But if I had to include them yeah I'd personally put Lawrence at 5, any higher feels like recency bias and any lower feels...ironically, also like recency bias

One I'm debating in my head is Kyler vs Lawrence

If the Jags miss the playoffs again but Kyler takes Arizona and they go on a run to the NFC Championship that one becomes interesting as well
