I know it's probably pretty under the radar but I am so glad to see Kobe so intense against the Celtics. It feels like the good old days. I'm going to miss this so much.

    man, I'm pretty Prestigious

lol he was the reigning MVP on the best team in the league; it's not like he was a nobody. From what I remember of pre-season mocks, steph was NEVER lower than 2.

But there's a huge difference between 2 and a historic runaway MVP season where he breaks multiple records.

No one thought he'd be bad, but the level of dominance he's had this year was completely unexpected.

The new episode of JJ Reddick's podcast was good today. He has Adam Morrison on and it's a really good one. I wish it was longer, but I get time is limited for an NBA player.

This year would be really hard to choose Coach of the Year, between Kerr, Pop, Synder, and Stevens though

(( The homer in me votes for Synder, cause damn he's had to hold this team together through a ton of injuries. If the West had been as good as it usually is, and we made the playoffs I think he'd have a better chance ))

  8. The obvious choice is one Dave Blatt.

I think it's going to be Stevens and I wouldn't be mad. I think Boston is doing a great job with their rebuild.

I won't be mad if Stevens gets it, if I could have any coach other than Snyder it would be him. I mean hell, he's made a decent player out of Evan Turner

I'd say Kerr or Pop, but I think Casey, Stevens, or Joerger are possibilities. What Joerger has been able to do the past few months with that crazy ass roster is amazing.

I love me some Quin Snyder though. I was pretty bummed when he left ATL.

He's handled even more of a decimated roster than the Jazz have. That roster has just been ridiculous

It has been awhile but I have to share my joy and anxiety over the current Celtics. Overachieving on a rebuild, coming scarily close to not getting a haul with our picks war chest, a new stud guard who cannot shoot. But what heart!
Also, I would kiss Brad Stevens with my tongue.

Honestly, if Smart keeps playing defense and rebounding like he is, and even gets passable at going to the basket to keep them honest, I couldn't care less if he finds his shot again.

Interested to see this Bucks - Cavs game tonight. Really hope the Cavs come out giving a shit. I like watching them play when they care.

This is what I tell myself, those Off Rebounds that stole us a couple wins recently really help sell that belief. Then I get Rondo flashbacks.

Smart seems much more team-oriented than Rondo ever really did, for what it's worth.

The rise of Giannis into the basketball super soldier he was destined to become has been great fun this season.

I have tickets to the C's-Bucks game Friday. Excited to see Giannis up close, while hoping we trounce them.

Agreed BUT it is kinda funny that a passing savant is seen by us both as being less of a team guy than Smart already is
