South Star Festival Announces Lineup

I’ve never heard of this festival before but if you are 90s and early 2000s music fan this is about as good as it gets in terms of a mix of acts from across various genres.

 

Shinedown and Jane's Addiction being billed over JEW is blasphemy. They must have great agents.

I'd be totally down for this if JEW and Blink played the same day, but since they don't, it's really hard to decide if it's worth it for me.

 

Wish it was No Doubt and not just Gwen.

Blink and Beck on the same day is A+ shit.

Also, Gin Blossoms and Goo Goo Dolls going through their hits would give me some feels.

I doubt it, but it would be cool if this livestreamed or even had performances pro-recorded.

Would really enjoy seeing blink-182 live, but sadly I can't leave the house these days.

Well that depends, they could do something different which is why I always look forward to a new show. That said, I'm thankful for Reading and Leeds because I know at least those will be streamed/pro-recorded.

 

Seen JA a few times. Perry never had a great voice IMO but it is absolutely shot these days.

 

By what metric? I feel like the go-to stat these days is Spotify monthly listeners, and JEW has twice as many as SD and 6x the amount of JA.

 

Ticket sales. Shinedown sells out sheds.
