Listening to the Meltzer take on Danielson/Ospreay.

"probably the best match ever in the United States"

I’m gonna have to give it a month before watching Bryan/Ospreay as the hype/hyperbole is killing me right now haha

Bryan and Dave do make a good point "if you're really trying to sell an injury, then don't have commentary say ' he spiked him on his head!' and then go to replay showing he took the move safely"

its very good, and definitely going to be very high on people's match of the year lists, but don't listen to Meltzer's comments lmao

I'm fairly certain he said the same thing about the ospreay/takeshita match at revolution

Actually Dave was a bit more measured than Alvarez was lol Alvarez said Ospreay is already a guaranteed lock for wrestler of the year and Dave was like "well I wouldn't say that just yet"

  20. Ospreay is on such an insane run that almost every match including him is going to be in the MOTY convo. It was definitely a 10/10 for me but yeah Dave's comments were a little goofy.

  21. I genuinely think a Will/Swerve match can top Will/Danielson

I kinda think I prefer the Ospreay/Takeshita match by a hair but still, they’re all nuts

ospreay/fletcher on the dynamite after revolution was incredible too. seeing him live twice in 4 days was wild and definitely worth my wife being mad at me for going on that wednesday.

having said that i think ospreay/bryan narrowly beats them both out for me.

One thing that hasn't really been said about last night: I feel happy for Prince Nana. He's been a manager in ROH 20 years since the very beginning, and finally just now got to manage on the a big moment like this on the main event of a major promotion's PPV.

Similar to what they have done with the Briscoes and The Kingdom. TK has been pretty decent about assimilating and elevating ROH legacy stuff into AEW.
