Oh my bad, I actually didn’t know what the deal with Alien was. I was just referring to other re-releases that I believe are one night only like the A24 ones

 

The Final Destination movies are still fun

 

Abigail was really fun! Probably a little too long and the ending got so complicated but when it was hitting it was hitting

 

Yeah put me in the camp of Night Swim was unfairly hated on. Weirdly enough it reminded me a lot of Insidious but instead of The Further taking place in the mind, it took place in a pool. Bet this movie would’ve done much better in the 2010’s

Late Night with the Devil was really fun. Wasn't scary per se, but it really nailed the vibes/atmosphere and could be pretty unnerving at times.

 

Late Night with the Devil ruled. Was fully enthralled the entire time.

 

I can’t stop thinking about Abigail, so I think I might have to say fuck it and go see it again. Lol

Also I didn’t mention him specifically before, but man, Dan Stevens is just so fucking great. I need him in more horror (after Cuckoo) and just in more movies in general. I feel like he deserves to be leading some huge movies.

 

I’m reminded more and more recently (as he pops up in so many things lately) that I still ain’t seen The Guest!

Saw Abigail a second time today, movie is a blast. The scene set to Danzig is beautiful.

I am so glad I decided to start Nightmare Beach. This is great.

 

10 min in and I’m open-minded, but seeing a Tesla in a TCM movie is so funny to me.

Not unreasonable at all. Wan and Blum should be all over this, it's only good optics. Keep the fans happy.

 

I feel like I've been neglecting my bluray player so I decided to put it to some good use and rewatched The Blackcoat's Daughter. Gonna do Saint Maud next and maybe a few other A24 flicks I've been meaning to revisit.

My friends and I still meet up almost every week for board game and movie night, but we haven't watched as many movies as I would like the past couple months, horror or otherwise, the board games have been eating into our movie time. We got only about halfway through Fear Street 1978 this past week.

 

I enjoyed Late Night With The Devil quite a bit. Dasmalchian has been good in everything I've seen him in.

 

Revisiting Men and Ready or Not this week in preparation for Civil War and Abigail this weekend.
