With the exception of Mone, AEW's big signings in the past 6 months have been slam dunks. Copeland is having a great run, Okada is being Okada, Ospreay is becoming a huge star. Things are looking up.

I can totally see that. I was honestly hoping she would lose the belt tonight to see where they'd take her character from here. Excited for the future regardless.

I mean, the womens division is running solid now (still not as many matches as it should have...but its 8-10 women deep with solid stories and another 5+ as supporting characters), and its not even using Britt, Jamie or Deeb, and wrestlers like Riho/Shida are very part time.

I think they should wait for Storm/Hayter at All In for her to lose. That should absolutely be the big women’s match at All In. Really happy Mercedes is going for the TNT title so Toni can continue to shine.
