I’m more likely to cry at a movie. But that is rare still. For some reason I cried every time I saw The Last Jedi in theaters. But never once when seeing it at home. I know I cried at Coco in fairly recent years. I know there were a few others.

I never used to cry at shows, but I’ve cried at pretty much every concert I’ve been to post-COVID. Some mix of being grateful to have live music back, hearing songs live that got me through the pandemic, and just generally becoming more of a sap as I get older. Lol

...yeah? You're not very good at this. I know the punk scene can pretty pretty misogynistic but I doubt most people are going to view crying as a negative.

If you're going to troll, at least be good at it.

Very casual Green Day fan. Generally, I check out a new record, really like one or two songs, and revisit once a year. I put probably 5 songs from Saviors on a playlist and more often than not whenever a song from the album comes on I pop over to the record and play it front to back. What a strong back catalog album.

Not sure if anyone else has said this here, but the riff from One Eyed Bastard is almost identical to a really annoying Pink song and I can't unhear it.

He really does have the look of a guitar-toting guy on the quad threatening to start singing "Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road."

I cried the other night at Spanish Love Songs show during Brave Faces Everyone. I think I’ve cried more than half the times I’ve ever heard that song in my life.

And I definitely cried at Forever Now’s last big chorus at a Green Day show in 2017. I was in the pit with other people, screaming out “I ain’t gonna stand in line no more” and I could not stop crying. It felt like I was going onto a higher plane of existence.

No regrets on either. Tears remind us we are alive.
