this thread rules because even when we have discourse or misunderstandings due to the nature of internet message boards, we handle it like adults. Love y’all.

Also, as another normal person who lives in a very red state (South Carolina), we got jack shit for decades because the racist people here kept flying the confederate flag over our state house until the horrific massacre in Charleston several years ago.

Anyway, since they took it down, way more people and businesses have been willing to come through (like ncaa stuff, major concerts and bands that would always go to NC or Atlanta instead).

That said, fuck the bigotry and hatred in this country man. There’s a lot more people willing to fight against hate than there are causing it.

I often feel I’m surrounded by psychopaths in SC, but then I remember this place exists and I feel better.
