I’d have to be running my AC in January!!

 

I will not listen to anyone from this climate with regards to my air conditioning

 

I can usually hold off running my AC until its hitting 80+ outside. Had to turn it on for a few mins two days last week to cool my apartment a little.

Not to mention the humidity! It’s like 76% humidity right now. I’m going to be sweaty for the next 6 months

we went with multiple portable units last year and it did the job for the most part. We also lucked up with a relatively tame summer temps/humidity wise though. I was trying to hold out for the IRA subsidies to get the heat pump (woulda been a $4000 rebate), but our state isn’t anywhere close to having them ready to go sadly. So we’re doing a payment plan, something we couldn’t commit to this time last year because we knew we had another year of paying for daycare to go haha

It gets into the mid-80s for normal highs where i am in the summer. The plus is that it gets down into the 50s at night by like 10ish. love being able to have my windows open most nights

 

That said, it can get into the 90s in hotter summers and even low 100s for rarer shitty summers. Thankfully not often

 

For most places, it usually is colder at night
