Also, hearing Dead Leaves in the context of the livestream tonight was so special. No spoilers for those who are waiting but…man.

 

Borderline was sobbing during Routine Maintenance tonight. It was one of those special moments. Felt like the whole crowd was in awe with that one. Maybe I just really love that song but felt like a very special moment in time.

 

Really impressed how many people traveled crazy distances for this show. Just standing next to me in the crowd were fans from the UK and Texas.

Being at the show was a magical experience. Can’t wait to dive into the album now.

If you search the artist name and just look at the song results and then click on the three dots go to album it’s there no clue what’s up though like you can’t add it to your library or anything

Album is a masterpiece! Got chills like 5 times listening to this. Just wow.

 

AW20 is easily cementing itself as one of my favorite projects of all time. Do I like them more than the Wonder Years? I don't know, but its close. This record is fucking great.

 

Holy shit of an album. Wow.

 

"Roman Candles" is so good. I'm actually shocked that wasn't a single.

Got broken up with two weeks ago and the first words on this record are 'feels like shit to be alone again'. No you're fucking crying.

 

It's so unexpectedly sonically beefy. So rich in a way that feels like a triumph for what this band should sound like.

 

I'm constantly having the same debate with myself. It's hard for me to put any band above TWY, but what AW20 has grown into is amazing. Dan needs to write a novel or something, his writing is just that good.
