Oh, I wasn't implying either would make any sense. Just the bullshit I think they'll go with.

The only way to find out is to tune to Monday Night Raw, at 8pm tomorrow night on the USA Network!

Thats the worst part (and maybe only silver lining). Nothing makes any sense for any title right now. So they'll either set a course forward tomorrow night to Payback, or they make it clear to wait til Summerslam to start watching again

yeah i kind of have a feeling thats why it got moved up after watching WM. you could easily book the womans (probably sasha/charlotte), probably jericho/AJ rubber match, LON/new day, even the WWE title if HHH wants his rematch then)

I hope this means the authority angle is dead.

the notion that a single Reigns victory kills the authority....yeah, thats not happening. They let Steph do a minute long performance piece for no reason. It's living on til Rollins kills it at the very least

    Literally 0% chance of that.

WrestleMania (32) was entertaining, but they buried Styles and Ambrose to part-timers. They remade Ryder a star and made a new star out of Corbin. Reigns is still not entirely over, but the new champion? They ridded of the Divas title and reinstated the Women's Championship with a sick (but recycled) belt design, which is huge for women's wrestling! Plus, what a way to send off Barret with three legendary finishers by three of the top 10 names of pro wrestling. I would give it a 6.5/10 due to the new stars, Undertaker-McMahon match, and women's title reinstatement saving the show in the long-run.

I bet anything Ryder isn't going to hold the IC title by next week's Raw.

I'll go a bit further and say that I would be shocked if he was still holding it 24 hours from now.

Yeah i'm pretty much expecting him to lose it tonight.

I understood it was pity booking for a surprise pop and a feel good moment but it just felt weird. The finish really should have been Sami grabbing it after suplexing KO on the ladder, that would have been perfect, the stuff with Miz and Ryder that came after was unnecessary.

I don't understand the hate of the Styles/Jericho ending. If Styles just won all his big matches, people would complain they pushed him too fast. Unlike the Ambrose match, he still came out looking strong. He'll have plenty more Wrestlemanias he can win.

my hunch is styles never gets much of a push. they don't want him being too high profile or they'll have to answer questions about the homophobic stuff.

Yep. Aside from the Jericho match to advance a seperate angle, he hasnt won solo on RAW in nearly 2 years. Seems like the RAW Main event, honestly.

It was a fun match overall. Problem with the booking is that it reasonably continues. Jericho has gone so far down the heel path, at some level, the face vanquishes them.

Then again, they handled Ambrose/HHH the same way and pivoted instantly the night after the loss.

    Jalen Ramsey is the GOAT

Well, we all knew this was coming, but Roman Reigns is now a three time world champion. I personally liked Wrestlemania up until the Rock came out but the ending of HHH vs Reigns wasn't just predictable, it was blatantly obvious when Steph and HHH tried to pull a DQ finish. But we all knew that anyway. I have just one image that sums up how I feel about that finish

Ah, so the thinking is that if AJ beats Jericho, he can go on and start a feud with KO or someone and Jericho can go help turn Roman heel or something; while the way things currently stand we're kinda left needing an AJ/Jericho part 5 and really enough is enough?

The triple threat was definitely match of the night, followed by the ladder match and Y2J/Styles.

I HATE HATE HATE that the new start of the "Women's Championship" era was determined by a man interfering but before that moment, that match was definitely my highlight of the night.

main event was the worst main event since 27. Still trying to gather my thoughts on it all. Don't get me wrong, I had a blast being there, and truthfully thought some of the matches were very good, but the decision making tonight was laughable at best. The only one that makes sense to me, even though I think most don't like it, is Charlotte retaining. I didn't want her to win, but in terms of story Sasha wasn't there yet, and while Becky could have won, I think Charlotte is a safer bet at the moment.

Some men want to watch the world burn

We're not stuck with that. I mean, the way Roadblock ended, Ambrose shoudl have gotten a rematch. But he didnt. And Lesnar murdered him and a new feud started. So, Styles could easily find a new feud tomorrow. And Jericho getting a win was nice. But, at current, it hasnt actually served any purpose. And doesnt seem likely to do so. Just filled time.

Odds are Jericho's contract isnt for more than part-time work much longer. Thus the win. His goal was to feud with New Day and boost them...and then build AJ Styles in that fued. He did both. A win was his reward.
