So, does assault always mean one person beat on another person and it was one sided, or can you get an assault charge for defending yourself in a fight? I always wondered that. I feel like if somebody attacks you or spits on you or otherwise disrespects you in an extreme physical way, it should simply be legal to punch them back and keep punching them until they back the fuck off lol

 

Granted it’s more about setting hard boundaries than inflicting pain vengefully, and whoever’s doing the punching-back should definitely stop the moment the other person stops fighting and not be sadistic about it. In that case then it probably becomes assault unless the other person has a deadly weapon in hand or something.

Quick google search tells me an average in ground pool cost is 55k and above ground pool cost is 3-5k.

and I’m sure that 55k is just a rectangle in the ground, nothing above and beyond.

an in ground pool has virtually no ROI so putting one in only makes sense if you’re there for 30 years.

 

That’s weird to me that pools don’t increase home value

 

Even though it's an add-on it's an add-on that requires maintenance so yeah

 

We intentionally avoided any houses with pools when shopping
