this looks good but so did the first one and it sucked shit

Ehhhhh this didn’t make me excited to see it tbh. I thought the first film was overrated, the only highlight being Phoenix’s acting. I’ll probably get talked into seeing this one but it’s not something I’m looking forward to.

 

But this one has Steve Coogan

 

I enjoyed the visuals of the original and the art direction and production design here looks on par if not better... but I still can't imagine Joaquin and Gaga breaking into song lol.

from this point, i don’t see the song cues not being at least somewhat on the nose

 

I tried to find an image of a clown nose being honked but all I found were disturbing images of creepy clowns.
