my 4 year old seemed interested because we told him the moon was gonna get in the way of the sun. That seemed to intrigue him. We'll see how he does with looking at it when I pick him up, I'm guessing he's expecting to actually see the moon and the sun the way he seems them in books/videos about space, probably will get bored/disappointed when he sees it's just a black circle on a yellow circle lol

 

I had two extra pairs and two kids just came and asked me for them, so there goes my stash.

It has begun here. Just looked and you can see the tiniest little chunk out of the corner of the sun.

 

my kids were both super excited about it - my wife is picking them up at school so they won't be trying to see from the bus and can get a good view
