Player's Log: Boundless Trails.

I finished my first run of the game. Taking a break and then I'll start New Game+.

It was ultimately a very cute, fulfilling adventure with some cool boss fights and sections, and just overall an old-school action-RPG feeling that I'd been missing.

As a Trails game? Listen, we can theorize all day, but in the end, there's nothing legitimately connecting this game to the series at large. Is it possible it will tie in? Who knows, maybe? But there's not enough meat left on the bones here to make a connection worthwhile. I feel like they tied up this plotline pretty well.

We'll see if anything in New Game+ changes that.

 

The controls in Evil West are rough

 

that part where you gotta shoot to cancel an enemies attack sucks when you got like 10 dudes shooting at you at the same time lol

 

Finished Reverie, could not help myself but start Daybreak with the english fanmade patch, fucking stoked to play.

 

HFW: finally reached SF. I love when video games have big post apocalyptic versions of real life places

 

E1 baby. Been pulling singles since getting the first, launch of the banner broke me. E2 is really where it's at though. Doubt I'll be getting that though.

Been running Acheron/Pela/Guinaifen/HuoHuo. E2 would let me get rid of Guinaifen while still getting the buff of having 2 extra nihility units. Got a decent crit spread of 182/70 so she's hitting nice even before any extra buffs.

 

I’ve thought about trying to e1 but stopped at 60 pulls into the banner a second time. Need a good shield so i want Aventurine

 

He looks really cool. I mainly use Gepard but I don't use shields TOO much, I try to kill as quick as I can heh. My Acheron speed is absolutely nothing to brag about tho haha.

Having never played a Persona game, is color really that big a deal? What does that even mean?

 

I was just posting it because there was discussion about the colors of Persona not that long ago

 

Literally means nothing. It’s just the aesthetic of each game lol. The menus are typically very stylish and all one color.

I think my favorite thing about this is how this leaker gets so much clout for just announcing a color. Green was predicted so long ago because it's just an obvious educated guess and this guy gets tons of internet points for announcing it.

 

Did anyone play the first Eiyuden Chronicle game that is kinda of a set up to 100 heroes? Is it worth checking out?
