    Did we do a Pearl thread??

    This was amazingggggggg! Wow and wow and wow. A24 never stops giving. This was so, so different. Unique setting, timeframe, characters, I loved how colorful and bright it was for a change.

    And of course Mia Goth, she's already cemented herself as a horror legend. Perfection

    I liked this so much more than X and am pumped for a final one but man its going to be hard to top this one

    X was great on its own, Pearl was so phenomenal that it also made X like twice as good by having the context of that character.

    What she did was extremely shitty and she is facing consequences for it. I’m not going to boycott her stuff. There are musicians and actors that have done vile shit and have done vile acts and it’s still getting swept under the rug and ignored by fans and their colleagues. I’m choosing to channel all my negative energy towards them. It might sound self-centered, but as of now, whatever.

    Yeah you're probably right. I haven't really felt inclined to avoid her work, and I wasn't sure if that was the right call. There are definitely shittier people to focus that energy on
