Lmao Watkins was four years older than most other prospects, played a non premium position, and it turned out he would rather have fought fires. Such a bad pick in every regard

 

Jags draft history from 2008-2015 is actually fucking pathetic LMAO. I’ve never gone through and documented it before. But we literally had two F grade attempts at a rebuild in like a 5 year span.

only draft class I didn’t include is 2009, that one was pretty solid. Eugene Monroe, Eben Britton, Terrance Knighton, Derek Cox, Mike Thomas were all good value for their draft spot and played well for us. However, the rest of the Gabbert rebuild went so fucking poorly that we blew up the team and shipped all that talent off for cheap by the time we drafted Bortles in 2014. And the Patriots selected two better players than ANY of these guys with the picks we traded for Derek Cox, a decent CB2 lol.

 

I remember hoping Barkevious Mingo would fall to Pittsburgh that year. Glad we got *checks notes* Jarvis Jones, instead.
