Spent a month at my parent's house in Farmington (near Rosemount and Lakeville) over Christmas (taking 25 days of PTO from my job here in Oslo), and very much enjoyed my time there. Been a year since I had been back to MN. Was crazy not to see any snow at all until the day before I left (January 9th). Was nice to finally get in a car and drive places on my own (all public transport use here)

 

Come on pop. Im a Minnesotan by heart and border. @GrantCloud will have my back.

 

Daria has the best pasta in the metro and it’s not particularly close. Went opening night and again a bit ago. High end but not wildly expensive and a living wage establishment as well. If you’re a pasta freak, get there.

 

Just like you’re not a Jet unless you’re a Jet all the way, you gotta be inside the border to be a Minnesotan.
