My opinion on trading down was entirely tied to the idea that Washington was going to do the obvious and intelligent thing and take Drake Maye, because I don't think you guys are ready for Jayden Daniels. But if Maye is there at 3 by all means you have to do that.

I place more value in sacks and, to a lesser extent, QB hits than pressures because pressures are too subjective to me. Don’t care about a participation trophy when the QB can avoid the sack and still compete the pass.

 

a QB hit is a pressure. if the QB has to avoid a sack that is also a pressure. it's just some QBs are good and some are not.
