Okay my new router solved my PS5 connectivity issues and I already got the usb wifi adapter and it doubled my download speed, LFG

 

Very specific HFW question: I need a Snapmaw part for an armor upgrade so I'm at a Snapmaw site outside of Salt Bite but there are no Snapmaw why?

 

Hmmmm, i guess its possible the areas spawn nothing sometimes? I'd run a decent length away or even fast travel and switch day/night and try again

Okay I mastered the fighter vocation and got damn good playing as one. Fighter has some really great abilities if anyone was worried its too basic a vocation. Gonna try warrior now.

 

Yeah someone asked me to describe the game and I said its Elden Ring and Skyrim mixed together

I just got to Bakbattahl. Got ambushed by the Griffon and a golem at the same time right before that lol wild shit

 

rolled credits on DD2 about 30 minutes ago. Lots of fun. Was a tad bit disappointed in the end with the amount of side quests compared to the first game but the bigger world made it feel a little better.

finished the game with thief, fighter, warrior and mystic spearhand at max level. stuck with thief at the end

 

I’m bouncing between thief and warrior for now but mystic spear hand has me interested once I get it

 

I’ve been meaning to bust out my ps3 and play something since I spent quite a bit of time last year picking up physical copies of classic titles for the platform and dmc 4 was one of the first games I grabbed but I’ve yet to play it. I’ve dabbled in 1 and 3 via emulation on my deck and beat 5 so I’m sure I’ll love 4

 

You can do some insanely cool shit with spearhand but in the end thief just felt so fucking powerful that I just stuck with that down the stretch. If you find a certain thief maister, you get a skill the basically makes your character never get attacked as long as you have stamina.

 

I wish it was easier to switch equipment when you change vocations instead of having to dump everything in storage and swap it out when you change especially if the storage guy and the vocation guy are different npc’s

This game really would’ve benefited from like a “gear set” option where you can set up loadouts at the vocation master or innkeepers

 

fantastic video this game is truly something else

 

the one good part of this is that you can store all your weapon/armor upgrade mats in the storage chest and it still pulls from them when you need to upgrade...you don't need to have it in your character's inventory.

also the fact that any items you give to your pawns get sent to the chest once you dismiss them

Player's Log: Trails Into Reverie.

Finished the last boss in the main quest, but there's still a final section I haven't completed yet that I'll do tomorrow. Goddamn Rufus, have you learned nothing from your time spent around Rean? Sacrifice is not the solution.

Anyway, over the weekend I should be good to wrap up the post-game content, which includes more epilogue-type daydreams, a whole four-and-a-half more floors of the True Reverie Corridor, and just all around good times.
