I didn't decide to see Maverick until it had been out for a few weeks and I went on like a Wednesday evening after work, so I didn't have time to watch Top Gun before that. I read the synopsis, I don't think I missed anything

Top Gun is worth a watch. But, not necessary to see Maverick.

 

Maverick is better in every way. The original is 80s trashy fun.

 

Fuck yes, love her and stoked for her. Give her the Cavill treatment.

Was laid up all Easter weekend and binged all of these (had to call it halfway through Dead Reckoning last night due to growing too tired) but man, what a friggin blast. I had only previously seen 1 and 2. Fallout was one of the most consistently engaging action movies I've seen in a long time. Excited to finish up and catch the next one in theaters.

 

Can you imagine Cruise just sitting down and doing a puzzle or something

Plays Don't Break The Ice by finding a frozen lake somewhere with a sledgehammer.

 

Oh hell yeah, that guy rocks so hard in Severance. Can picture him being a great antagonist here.
