That must be the difference. I played the first with a friend - I don’t think I ever went at it solo like I’m doing with 2.

Good shit though. I plugged my Deck into a spare monitor at work and played it on my break lol.

I've got a ton of hours in solo RoR2, it takes a while to get a good feel, it's worth getting to that point though. Keep your runs for each level from 5-8 mins tops. Start on drizzle, start to memorize items and what they do, building is important in the game. Play huntress.

 

Risk of Rain returns is awesome

 

I like ROTR combat more than Wo Longs

 

Huntress is the way but engineer is pretty solid too
