twenty one pilots tour should be getting announced this Wednesday

 

Wonder who 21P is taking out with them and if they're still doing arenas.

 

My dad literally told me yesterday he wanted to see Rateliff so this is really eerie timing.

 

assuming party girl are the DJ sets?

 

It was totally a "boy band" vibe. It was funny seeing all the "tough" guys standing in the back miserable during their set.

this thing always looks so bad when they split it by day and you can see the conflicts. These days drop off harddddd after the 3rd line.

love that they booked Militarie Gun on a day with maybe 4 other acts with guitars lol.

Anybody who goes to Lolla knows the headliners end up conflicting. Other than that, I usually end up getting more excited after the day by day. Every day this year has at least a handful of artists I'm very excited for.

 

Thus schedule is perfect. Every act of wanna see doesn’t overlap. Now I really wish I was going

 

It's not just the headliners...for example on Saturday, odds are Deftones and Tate are both conflicting as pre-headliners, while Skrillex and Four Tet will be on Perry's during pre-headliners and headliners. The walk between the North and South ends of the park make it nearly impossible to leave one set and make it to the other end of the park to catch the start of another set. It's my least favorite multi genre fest in North America, doesn't help that it ends at 10pm. Usually have headliners going on when it's still light out, impacting their production.

 

As someone who just locked in Lolla this is actually super helpful. That in mind, what is the venn diagram on Deftones and Tate Mcrae fans looking like in the year 2024?

 

they’re both huge on tik tok so honestly probably pretty big haha

 

Lolla Friday has, by my estimate, maybe...five bands that I'd consider rock music? That seems weird.

 

Multi genre fests are alllllll in on the TikTok pop/folk-pop trend right now. Rock music doesn’t move tickets like it once did at a multi genre fest. Hip hop is even taking a bit of a backseat to pop on these lineups.
