It sucks for you for sure. I also understand why airline employees can’t really accommodate everybody on a full flight, and 60-70% of the people bring more carryon luggage than they should and don’t listen when clearly instructed to put baggage vertical and put small bags under the seat etc. how DO you bring a suit without wrinkling it all up on a business trip though… I always wonder that

I’m service industry fam, employees in all those customer facing industries get shit on every day. Always gonna look at that angle first. They could’ve been nicer to grimace and it’s not his fault at all - but there are like 100 customers who are way worse than grimace every day, so it’s hard to blame them for being a little stricter about setting guidelines and not making exceptions

I'm thinking of moving to New Hampshire so I can pay Oklahoma prices for a home, but still live near civilization at least

 

New Hampshire is nice

 

There's a really nice house I'm looking at that's got an extra 300 square feet and bedroom for baby #2, for only like 15,000 more than I payed for my current house, and it's like 15 minutes from my parents.

Tbf if you worked on Southwest you'd probably be venting about that guy to us right now and how much you don't like working with him

 

Honestly the politics is really the only con. But where we live now is the only trumpy part of eastern MA so it's somehow still a step in the right direction.

The politics aren't good, not nearly as good as the rest of NE, but it's still like a place where if you cast a vote it matters which is rare in the US where so many places are set in who wins

The other con is that if you ever work "in NH" I'm pretty sure all their record keeping is in paper for background checks. Laura's always take an eternity to get done solely because of the state of NH
