Looks like they gave Paul Rudd a bigger part which is good

I have no shame in using A List for this it has Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd

 

Thought the last one was bad. This does not look promising. The fact that they’re saying all the ghost they caught will be unleashed is basically like “Don’t worry! This will still have references you’ll understand!”

That said, I’ll be there opening night because of A-List.

 

I honestly think this one looks better with each new trailer. Atleast its back in NYC where its supposed to be. I really disliked Afterlife and haven't rewatched it since Opening night. Going to brush up on it next week before I see this one. Got tickets for next Saturday night.

 

Some decent reviews (Luke warm) from die hards that went to the premier. Didn’t find a ton though.

 

I would not trust a Ghostbusters fan on a Ghostbusters movie.

 

I typically find people who like things to be poor judges of character.

 

Re-watched Afterlife this past weekend. Really didnt enjoy it the first go around at the theater. I actually enjoyed it more this time, maybe cause I knew what to expect. Looking forward to the continuation of the story. Seeing the new one in 5 days!

 

I actually like parts of afterlife - just a horror final third and that’s like 85% of all Hollywood films. The foundation was there. Maybe a little slow to start? But I definitely didn’t dislike it - just annoyed with some of the choices at the end. I’m sure all the same shit will piss me off with this one but I like the characters and it will be cool to have more action and see them in NyC again.

 

Yea missing NYC was my biggest complaint originally, but after rewatching this and knowing Frozen Empire is in NYC, Im okay with it now. Just too slow of a start and hoenstly my least favorite character is Egons grand daughter which sucks cause she is the star.

no! I have zero emotional connection to these movies. I saw one of the first 2 when I was a kid (marshmellow man?) and that's it
