I think NYG should take best WR available in the 1st then focus on one of those lower tier QBs. The team has a lot of holes

yeah i think DJ starts the season on PUP and they roll it out with Lock and the Marinara Magician

 

theyre definitely going WR at 6 and i like the move, i think they potentially draft a QB in round 3 or 4.

Quick thoughts:

- They will make a move for a backup QB. I’d be down with either Tyler Huntley or Justin Fields. I think both are possible.

- I can see them bringing in cheap veterans at TE and OL to compete for depth in the summer.

- I still think they need to make a move at DT. Not a single veteran at that position. With conditioning concerns surrounding Carter and Davis, and the fact that neither Davis nor Williams have played at least 50% of the snaps in any season so far, I think they need to add a proven veteran to that group. My guess is a move in the summer, either signing a surprise cut or making a trade

- They still need to move on from at least one of Reddick or Sweat. More smoke around Sweat right now. I could see this lasting until the draft or even after it. Hopefully they don’t move on from both, otherwise they’re creating another need.

- I’m thinking they’re done at LB for now. My guess is they look at LB in round two. If they get their guy, cool. If not, I still think they’ll draft a rookie and then I can see them signing a Zach Cunningham-type of LB after the draft. Either way, the group continues to be absolute dogwater

- They have no legit slot corner and Bradberry might be cooked. I know they are frequently mocked corners in mock drafts, but I could see a big splash here like Patrick Surtain, L’Jarius Sneed, maybe Marshon Lattimore.

- I think there is still room for one more safety. If they play CJGJ in the slot, their starting safeties are Reed and a guy recovering from a torn ACL who might now be ready for week one. Still holding out hope for Justin Simmons.
