I'll never forget Emmanuel Dennis scoring a -2 total in a DGW that saw them play Norwich first, where he got sent off in a loss.

And the infamous Sane 1 point DGW a few seasons back when he was the most captained player for it lol.

Atletico have made it 2-2 on aggregate in the 87th minute vs Inter.

Could be another game going to ET or penalties.

I know a lot of people think penalties are a lame way to end a game, but the suspense and drama is unmatched. What other sport has such a high pressure experience?

Penalties are insanely fun and dramatic when your team isn’t involved.

If they are it is actual torture.

Wow. Atletico through. Oblak saves two and then Lautaro bottles it lol.

Martinez went full baggio on that last take. Love to see Pavard lose

Just wanted to post the same regarding Baggio. Also, Baggios miss was 30 years ago, so nice tribute by Lautaro.

Question to people in the UK: is there a reliable app/website that shows fixtures of lower league matches (5th tier and below), ideally with info about the ground the match is played at?

    This is an interesting thread.

Watching last night, sometimes you just know someone is drowning in the moment. Lautaro stepped up, could barely hold the ball and was struggling to put it on the spot accurately. Then he never gave himself the moment to calm down. Compare that to Saka who had no intention of taking that penalty until he got used to the moment.

I miss penalties when I’m practicing alone on an open net. Been terrified of them since my youth. Haha.

You could always do a David Unsworth and blast it as hard as you possibly can so the keeper has no chance lol

saw that thread last night and had similar thoughts about Mac Allister’s penalty against City last weekend

not only did he have to wait a few minutes while Ederson was tended to by the medical staff, once the ref blew the whistle, Mac Allister took 7-8 seconds and a few deep breaths before shooting

makes a lot of sense to take some time and calm the nerves a bit

Hate to tempt fate, but one injury to Rice and its Henderson starting for England. How's it come to this?

3-0 in the first 10 minutes, 8-1 on aggregate

    dear lord

if anyone is wondering why bother starting Darwin, Salah, Szoboszlai, Robertson when the first leg was 5-1, all of them need minutes for match fitness

Advantage Spurs if Watkins' injury is serious.
