Not surprising they sold out of the presale tickets. Now it's time for a lineup release!

 

Lineup out this coming week I presume.

 

Should be. Hints to start the week.

 

Maybe, just maybe, we'll get a lineup this week.

Otherwise it's like last year and we're getting this and Lolla on the same day.

"Front of stage viewing" so are they going to have a dedicated section for VIP right at barricade?

 

No way in hell I'm springing for that VIP and I have a feeling I will feel punished for it. Maybe I'll just try in earnest to get in for free this year.

"VIP front of house TWO STORY viewing area"... soooooo like everyone behind that giant square (that is both up front and dead center) will have restricted viewing?

 

I would assume it's right behind or next to the sound tent, so it wouldn't likely be any more restrictive than the tent itself.

 

My expectation as well. Just more of a gap behind the tent.

 

I literally have no idea who could be headlining this. Very curious.

 

Alanis is one. Brittany Howard is playing, not sure if she is headliner, though.

That’s the best part of this festival - yeah, a few acts get taken out by Lolla or another festival but for the most part they get who they want.

 

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Alanis isn't playing, but we'll see. I think people were throwing her around because she is on that Minneapolis festival the same weekend.

One thing I've thought about, considering the addition of VIP tickets and GA remaining at the level it is, is that the cost of being there is going to go up much more.

VIP includes 6 alcoholic drinks per day per ticket holder. Drinks at p4k were already cheap compared to other festivals (under $10 for a beer, maybe just around $10-14 for other options) so I can only see that going up with VIP getting drinks for free.

Food costs will also go up. There's always cheap options at a festival but not always the thing you want or can eat.

I'm a bit concerned it's going to feel like a total shell of its former self.

 

Really hope this lineup leaks at some point. Seems like hints have gone from maybe later today to now tomorrow...

Black Pumas, Jamie XX and Alanis as the headliners if that poster is real

 

Black Pumas fucking sucks.

 

If that is what it ends up being, I would easily skip Friday or roll up late afternoon for Jeff and Gecs, skip everything else.

 

Friday is def a skip because Jeff is here in April and it’s not even sold out so you can still grab a ticket. The only other act I would see is Doss but that’s not a must see.

I am still skeptical but this festival always has accurate leaks soooooo
