personally, I think Biden is doing everything in his power to lose. and I think if he loses, he will have earned that loss. this is not a comment on what I want to happen, but this is the impression he and the dems overall are giving.

Yes lol democracy is supposed to be a mandate of the masses. So if you acknowledge that we have enough power to crash the plane, maybe it's not a great idea to keep us locked in the coach bathroom for years instead of listening to our flight instructions.

 

That plane analogy is so awful and there is zero reason to engage with it. Anyone willing to utter something that childish in public should be resoundingly ignored as a baby brained simpleton.

imo Biden losing the me-demoraphic voter to apathy seems very not good for his prospects

couldn't have imagined myself not feeling like voting in a general 4 years ago but here we are.

 

Trump will be our president. Better get used to it.

 

I can only speak for myself, but I was one of those people who were fully prepared to bite my lip while voting Biden again, then Gaza happened..

 

I keep going back and forth and I really want to say fuck dems forever but lately I've been reminded of the daunting misery i had almost every single day from 2017-2021 so my deliberation quickly boils down to 3 questions: 1. will abstaining have any positives? 2. will dems losing have any positives? 3. will dems winning have any positives?

3 is the closest any of them come to a yes unfortunately.

I can't see how Dems losing will magically force introspection upon them and cause them to change their ways. I can see it getting worse though and, as much as I hate to say it, my animosity for that bullshit, their hubris, and all the stupid liberal condescension doesn't mean anything when trump is president and conservatives are more deranged than ever.

 

This was all very predictable when the democratic establishment decided to throw everything behind Biden in 2020. Maybe they thought Kamala would be more electable and be popular enough to just take the reins in 2024. Or maybe they should have just gone with anyone younger then.
