I feel like it comes down to outside shooting for Minnesota, right. Rubio, Wiggins, Levine, and Dunn. Levine apparently improved, but that was definitely a problem for them.

  3. Hibbert 15 and 9 tonight. Give me that majority of games and I'm happy.

I'm not exactly sure what the plan is in New Orleans.

Also curious where Rudy Gay gets traded.

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

    Davis stat line is ridiculous.

    50 points (50%FG, 16-17FT), 16 boards, 7 steals, 5 assists, 4 blocks

I haven't played fantasy basketball in a couple years, but I woood assume if you have him, your team is winning.

At some point Ingram has to get on a strength program, right?

They screwed up when they tried to rush a rebuild around him, giving up that 2013 pick for Holiday and tried to make a bunch of other win now moves. Patience is always the key with a rebuild, but new owners never seem to take that approach.

Celts did an amazing job with patience. A rarity these days.

I'm sure he has been on one back in Duke, but at some point that needs to be a priority.

The coaching change was a bad idea when they didn't have a notably better option. Bad luck with injuries, but most of their trades were interesting to say the least. I also have my doubts with that ownership group.

Strength programs are interesting within the scope of an NBA rookie schedule, that's a good point. He's going from college ball ending April to draft prep, which for him meant showcasing his shooting abilities. He wasn't going to fix his lack of strength. Then you go into summer league, training camp, pre-season, and now live bullets. I believe Ingram is also young for his class, so that's another factor. I should ease up on him haha

Woo hoo Myles Turner. And Monta Ellis with a clutch defensive play in the final seconds? Nice start. Harrison Barnes just had to redeem getting stuffed by Turner of course. Had me on edge

  20. What'd he finish with tonight? I think you're going to really like him. He's good.

They are still knocking around. He has 7 off the bench thus far.

Edit: it's on ESPN if interested.

I watched Duke last year at times and was aware of Ingram, but you probably know his game better. I know the canned "scouting report" on him, but do you think he translates well to the NBA? I personally never bought him above Simmons last year, but I think between right usage and development there is something really good there. I think those Durant comps that Ford and company put out late in the draft process did more harm than good, personally.

  23. I don't think he'll be better than Simmons long term, but I do think he'll be an All-Star in around four/five years. He's one of the best pure scorers I've seen in a while in the college game. I'm a believer. Not sure I trust the Lakers to get him there, but I really think he's got a shot at something special. He's got a good stroke, can score in a variety of ways, but needs to play better defense. But he has a killer instinct and can score from anywhere.

  24. Ingram will be better than Simmons this is my moderately warm take

I don't love this Laker roster for Ingram, as he will have to hijack some possessions, but the Duke experience is something I would think he can hark back to this year. He's on a roster with several high usage, score first types, so the idea of fitting in and making the most of his looks is not foreign. Patience is the key. More so than other rookies.
