I mean, aside from Make a Wish stuff, has Cena really shown any spine on any political/hot button issue? He spent a decade+ in WWE being the mouthpiece of the company, its not surprising that he'd slight right into that role for studios/companies he's advertising for, and likewise still carry Vince's water.

It is funny how little effort it takes to say what Randy or Seth said though...dont even have to get into details or really slam him...just acknowledge the accusations are awful

 

Cena is the type of guy who every word out of his mouth and action he takes is done with his brand on the mind. The Rock is like that too.

The only non-wrestling people I can say have that same level of almost psychotic self brand awareness are Michael Jordan and Mr. Beast .

It's impossible for someone like that take any side politically. As Jordan once said "Republicans buy sneakers too"

Orton did some awful shit when he was young and he absolutely does not deserve a free pass, but based on the way he comes off these days and how he behaves publicly, coupled with just growing up and having kids, he probably regrets a lot of that stuff and has some genuine remorse over it.

At least I hope.

Who knows, really, but he absolutely strikes me as a guy who has changed for the better.
