She should legit ask her fans to go volunteer somewhere as a day of service on her birthday. Pick up trash in a park, sort food at a food bank, etc. So much would get accomplished.

 

She did get a shit ton of them to register to vote. So that’s at least nice. Hopefully she tells them to all vote against trump this year. Ha

 

It wasn’t clear that’s all it was. I think they all thought she was going to play “The Bolter” and be the first people ever to hear it live.

She’s created an aura around announcements that makes the crowd feel like they were lucky to be at this special event. But I’m sure it fell flat once they realised what it was.

 

What’s most outrageous to me is that media-specific bonus songs often actually don’t appear in some form or another on streaming services. I mean I get wanting to move products but it’s just unfathomable to me. Proper deluxe editions usually show up. Some artists put out instrumental versions. Taylor’s 3AM came out. But I actually need to purchase and play a record to hear one (!) song? Its inexplicable, especially in the post-download card era.

 

Tbh the thing that annoys me most is when deluxe editions come out and it changes the album title in regards to replay/wrapped/last.fm stats. I wish they would just re-release it under the same title without the “(deluxe version)”

tbh I don’t have an answer lol, I don’t go out of my way too much to look up what I’m missing let alone seek it out. just know it’s a phenomenon

I imagine Beyoncé and Dua dropping new songs in the last few weeks are one factor.

 

plus Selena plus it's hard for her to promote a single when she's abroad

 

iirc, there hasn't been a prerelease single for anything since May 2022 (This Love TV). idk if she'd release anything or build anticipation by withholding a single until the album drops.

 

Lol, respectfully to all those artists, but I don’t think she’s worried about any of them. My guess is that she’s just done with prerelease singles.

 

Maybe her team doesn’t wanna put in the work to ensure she gets that #1 or maybe her team don’t want the press of TS “fighting” against them.

Like maybe let’s focus on building pure albums sales now and then if needed we can release the single.

 

Who in the scene is behind this account ? lol.

 

On the bright side it is nice to see the biggest artist in the world keep the concept of an “album” alive.

EDIT: The Beyonce song didn't go number 1 anyway! It went number 1 country, not all-genre.
