just re-listened to renaissance on my evening walk. really nice record. definitely backloaded in terms of melody (outside of the first half singles), but immaculate sequencing and captivating textures all over the place.

These two songs are so good. not the biggest country fan but these and the Kacey single have been on heavy rotation.

Saw the instrumental also pop up on her Youtube page. Seems like her team is really gunning for that #1 debut. Which god I hope she gets......it makes me very sad that 2024 Kanye is neck and neck with her right now.

I think her and Kanye are gunning for #2. Whatever Jack Harlow song that has been #1 that I don’t think anyone has heard still is staying at #1

Ha I feel like the only song I've ever heard from Jack Harlow was What's Poppin almost 5 years ago. I'm always shocked to see his name on top of charts and headlining huge arenas.

I don’t think I’ve seen him really headline huge arenas except in his hometown. Bigger-ish venues elsewhere

I don’t think I’ve listened to a whole Beyoncé album. I know her hits. But I love these two songs. I’m excited to listen to the rest of the album.

Listen to self titled or Lemonade in full if interested, both are great starting points if you are into these songs

S/T, Lemonade, and Renaissance are the big 3

Personally, my clear #1 is Renaissance. And then the other albums that work best for me as albums are Lemonade and 4.

4 is where she took a huge leap for me, and everything since then has been near perfect.

S/T made me a fan of her music, and also introduced the music industry to BOOTS, whose work (solo, Beyoncé, or otherwise) remains some of my favorite to this day

As someone who only really knows her solo work, what’s the best Destiny’s Child album?

I went to revisit 4 on Spotify, and it’s the deluxe edition, which completely redid the sequencing? The flow of the original release was so much of why that album ruled. Dang.

I noticed that as well, so bizarre. Last time I listened it to I just manually created the right order in a playlist, very annoying
