I took my Mom to one of these type of shows / tours last Summer. It was Rick Springfield / The Hooters / Paul Young / Tommy Tutone.

The sets were kind of seamless. Tommy and Paul shared the same set up so the “set change” was non existent. The started at 7:30 was over at 10:50. Four acts, 3 hours and 20 minutes. This was the I Love the ‘80s Tour and I’m betting the same people are putting this on. I liked how quick it all moved. Lol. tl;DR: it’s a fun night, fun show. I’ll take my Mother again this summer I think.

 

9/14 for the Ari tour is Indio which AFAIK the only venue there is Coachella so I'm leaning even more towards that being fake

 

Definitely. Inglewood is also LA, so while I guess she could technically play 2 different arenas days apart in the same city that also seems unlikely

 

Some big rooms for Girl In Red (and gaps in the dates for second night). Didn't realize she was this popular.

 

It actually should be Palm Desert which has the arena Olivia and Harry played at but yeah that sounds fake if they can’t get that right lol

 

That’s where my mind went to also. No one ever seems to get that area right. To about of people, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio and Rancho Mirage are all just the same city

 

depeched mode just played Forum and Staples Center on their most recent tour so its not unheard of
