Why buy an xbox handheld when there is a steam deck

 

People barely wanted a psp (which I love all iterations despite flaws). Why would Microsoft suddenly succeed there against Nintendo or steam deck

 

They'd need to match the quality of the Steam deck while competing on price which, given their losses on hardware, seems pretty reckless. Given their prioritisation of cloud too they'd probably make streaming a necessity which would make it far less appealing.

 

I mean I definitely can’t say it’d be successful, but I know my ass would definitely buy a handheld gamepass machine
