I love all things horror but I think Doki Doki was a little too intense for me. I wasn’t expecting the violence to be self harm and suicide

Pretty cool game though, even if it didn’t live up to the hype for me.

With the OST now on streaming combined with the announcements of doing a lot of figures I'm really hoping we hear something. They're showing some interest in keeping the game alive in people's minds. Like maybe we get a remaster with octopath engine and expand disc 2 (although that would take SOME work) for a 30th anniversary.

Fuck it's gonna be 30 year anniversary in 4 years......I'm old.

As someone who has never played the Yakuza games, I’m heavily considering on purchasing the bundle on Steam. Seems like a deal I can’t pass up.

 

I started 0 last week, it's my first Yakuza game, shit rocks. I was planning on skipping to like a dragon after this so that I could play Infinite Wealth, but now I kinda want to go chronologically

 

love when you start playing yakuza and you are a few hours in and suddenly you are helping fake Michael Jackson and Steven Spielberg

 

One can dream! I hope some day (hopefully sooner rather than later) Takahashi and Squeenix can decide to revisit Gears. Id rather have that than a brand new team remaking the game. And I think the fans would too.

I'm currently playing Kiwami 2 in order to get up to date with the series and I just got to the side story of the.....adult babies and I WAS SO NOT PREPARED hahahaha.

 

Just don’t start the Yakuza games out of order. The universe will crumble and anarchy will ensue.

 

Nah, it's actually cool to start a story in the middle, to create a complete state of absolute confusion, and diffuse any possible emotional payoff.
