yeah i have it’s rlly good imo but i keep forgetting to re-download it considering i haven’t played it in awhile. sucks that it didn’t blow up as much as star rail did tho

 

They are releasing the sequel with a major overhaul to the UI soon it looks like

 

Yeah I stopped playing the OG game around the time the Evangelion collab happened. Was a fun game. Dunno if I'll add the new version of it into my lineup but I'll def be downloading again to check it out.

Tried Enshrouded today and ended up refunding it. I just don't think survival games are for me. Losing most of my loot every time I die is incredibly frustrating and everything is so grindy that it takes hours to accomplish anything. I don't have time for this!

If they implemented a casual mode I might pick it up again later, but the grind is just too much.

Helldivers II is fun. Tons of replay ability. Very difficult solo. The opening cut scene is hysterical and the game definitely loves the idea of Lost Planet and Starship Troopers.

The addition of TMNT into Fortnite is a blast. The way they did the weapon drops is cool and the weapons might be a little OP. My son and I were playing last night and we consistently got over 10 kills. I ran Leonardo and he was using Donatello.

 

Anyone got the top tier subscription of PS+? Seen there's an upgrade offer for £12 for pretty much a full year of it. I mainly wanna play the old Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper games - is the streaming good, or is the latency such that for a shooter it doesn't work well?

 

I felt bad because I was just doing randoms and I struggle so hard idk if it’s just the apex mechanics

 

I feel like it’s a game where you have to play regularly or it’s a struggle

 

I’ve been wanting to get back into Apex for a minute. Maybe I’ll do that when the new season starts.

 

Also wow Lost Planet isn’t a game I’ve thought about in years. Core memory unlocked Nate

 

Standout demos of Next Fest for me so far:

- Hollowbody: A Silent Hill clone that nails the tone and atmosphere of those games. Short demo but it's apparently releasing in Q1 2024. Will likely buy day one.

- Berserk Boy: Really fun Megaman clone with a decent chunk of gameplay in its demo. Releasing March 6 and will definitely buy day one.

- Until Then: Story-focused, pixel art game with minimal gameplay elements but some interesting writing. Love the art style and the tease of weirdness to come in the story. No release date, but it looks like it's getting a console release too.

 

I think I heard somewhere that Helldivers II had a larger concurrent player base at launch than Spider-Man 2. I’m assuming that is due to the fact that it’s also on Steam.


Hopefully Sony is paying attention

 

Not only did it surpass Spider-Man 2, but highest concurrent PlayStation game on steam.

 

Very cool. Hopefully Sony looks at this and can see bringing games to PC day one is a good thing.
