We had our chances. This game is likely over. Game 2 should be ours. I'll take a 1-1 split all day.

It's a game of breaks. Indians have had far more.

As a Mets fan that wasn't able to enjoy last years series much, its really nice to sit back and enjoy some great baseball. Im pulling for you Cubs fans though.

Sure but there's types of breaks. Bases loaded HBP isn't really capitlizing. Schwarber HR 1 foot short isn't really capitlizing. It's just the gifts you sometimes get in a game. Those went Cleveland's way tonight. Kluber being amazing shut the door on the Cubs coming back from it.

I know the feeling. I truly think they have what it takes though. If they can come back tomorrow (tonight? maybe??) and get the momentum in their favor, I think they'll be able make a pretty good run at it.

This is exactly how I feel. Heading into October, I told myself that if the Mets didn't advance, I'd root for the Cubs all day

Come on tribe, just three more wins!

This will be an interesting game. Arietta has some good stuff, but has not dominated in the playoffs. Bauer is kind of an unknown, but is always a tad volatile. Chicago has to be encouraged with Schwarbs and their two-gappers. Despite Klubes and Miller getting it done, the Cubs made some good swings. Schwarbs' swing last night is a HR most nights in Cleveland. The cool weather and wind off the lake kept that sucker inside.

So, Cleveland last night was BONKERS. One of the most EPIC nights of my life. Getting to witness the Cavs raise their championship banner then receive their rings. And then going to Game 1. Unbelievable night downtown.

Couple of thoughts, I'm not a big fan of pitching Kluber on short rest, but honestly, guy only threw 88 pitches last night so he'd probably be very well fine to start Game 4 if needed. As someone else mentioned earlier in this thread, Miller was the shakiest he's been in months and he still somewhat dominated. That's a very good sign. Probably won't use him tonight so I'm hoping Bauer goes pretty deep in this game. Weather conditions will be miserable, cold and rainy. So could be another relatively low scoring game.

Weather looks really awful tonight. Hoping they get this game in.

No need to start him game four even if they lose two and three. I don't think starting guys on short rest is worth it.

Too late, Tito just announced he's the Game 4 starter. Not sure how I feel about it.
