Man I have some strong nostalgia over that Maylene album. I remember being on a youth group trip on a bus (yes I’m from Alabama) and one of my friends was like, listen to this, it’s the old singer from Underoath, and it was Caution… blew my mind. Pretty sure that album made learn how to play drop D riffs on guitar….

I should buy it.

 

I have to pick up Vapor Transmission soon. I haven't listened to it for a long time, but so much nostalgia for that album!

 

Currently spinning the new blink Untitled pressing. Sounds good, not great. There’s some pretty annoying surface noise, which a good cleaning will hopefully resolve. Really wish I had the SRC pressing. I have the SRC of the greatest hits, and the Untitled tracks on there sound superior to this pressing. Better separation. Punchier.

 

It still rips.

 

Having that Hitsujibungaku record was definitely worth the shipping cost, it’s beautiful

 

Haven't spun it yet but I'm sure it sounds magical!

This new ending to Echo is really sick! I like how they're not just doing straight forward renditions like most re-recordings have been lately.

 

The extended outro is great. Its already is one of my all time favorite songs and I love they made it even longer!


Nicole Row from P!ATD looks to be their new bassist. She's got some awesome chops!

 

Blink just came with a hole in the sleeves. A single layer of bubble wrap could have easily prevented this.

 

Yep, I had damage on mine, albeit not a hole. I emailed and they offered a replacement or a refund. I'm gonna do the refund, I think

Looks like a corner of another box got dropped on it. The mailer had a huge ding in it. Again, a single wrap of bubble wrap probably would have saved it.

 

Wow, I lucked out and the album came in great condition. Which is a rare thing for me.

Also I could've sworn they said this was limited to 2000 copies. My album says its no. 2140

 

Charging these prices for vinyl, then not going the extra lengths to protect it during shipment. Companies make no sense.

 

They’re for sure losing money in the long run too. Oh corporate waste.
