Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the actual reason something completely different and Buddy just said that to be a dick? I thought I remember seeing on here that there was way more to it than just the “font thing” and people were giving Buddy shit for it

    idk man

It's because Bad Omens was "billed" as direct support but not getting paid direct support money. Font size was just a way that Buddy could spin it so BO was in the wrong

As long as NOBODY mentions the pop punk band who are breaking up I think he'll be okay.

  7. it's obviously Paramore this week

People online seem very certain that Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, and I Prevail is a tour this summer.

To be fair that was Amity Affliction/SF co headliner and I’ve never heard of a band being direct support for a coheadlining tour. Obviously a misunderstanding between the bands management.

ugh why does this have to be on the perfect date of 420 but also be the same night as Sanguisugabogg

I'm seeing between 9:25 & 9:50 on setlist.fm for varying dates. I'd assume Saturday show trending towards 10pm.

naw, the Ft Worth date of ITYSL is on April 20th which sounds like a great day to have that show

BUT Sanguisugabogg is also playing that same night at another venue in town, so now I got a tough choice to make

Going the Saturday of Sonic Temple mainly for Sleep Token. Bought a Sunday Inkcarceration ticket for Bad Omens. There's enough on both days that will be entertaining, even if it's not the typical show I would go to.

    Times for last night were

    7:00-7:20 fromjoy (regional opener)
    7:40-8:05 Aviana
    8:20-8:45 Johnny Booth
    9:00-9:40 Thornhill
    10-end Silent Planet

JB posted on Twitter they're switching off with Aviana, sometimes they've been posting their set time there as well.

Why? Coffin Flop is not a show. It’s just hours of bodies busting out of shit wood and hitting pavement.

Chimaira being as high as they are on here is wild to me. Especially considering how poorly their last actual headliner sold. I mean good for them though I've always like the band. Guess it just goes to show what becoming a festival/one off dates only band can do for you.

it’s def cause it’s a one off close to home, but to be fair every fan knew that last album was Daath+ Mark Hunter. The OG lineup had a pretty big fan base at one point and could sell out every 1k-3k venue in the country.

I don't think any other "scene band" has been able to successfully make the jump to radio rock success so early in their career. But yeah, if you listen to active rock radio they're inescapable, and they have the streaming numbers (5.6M Monthly on Spotify) and ticket sales to back it up.

I feel so divorced from active rock radio in particular. Hasn’t been an active rock station in my city since 1996 but it’s wild that there is this whole other infrastructure out there I’m mostly unaware of.
