My dad’s pretty picky on games but I got him to play uncharted 4 on PC and he loved it. For that reason alone I hope the rest of them make it to Steam at some point, I’d even just settle for a remaster or something

 

Seeing stuff like this makes me glad I was not as much in the gaming space when TLOU2 came out. I’d imagine it was such a miserable time for their devs, the clip of Laura Bailey talking about the hate she got was so heartbreaking.

 

Who the heck could possibly hate Laura Bailey of all people???

to be fair, Laura Bailey has done some rather questionable things (portraying WoC) but still...

 

ngl, I'd start to feel slightly miffed if I was invested in the Xbox ecosystem.

 

Ecosystem is an appropriate word since a lot of gamers act like animals.

Microsoft's journey to become the next Sega is almost complete.

 

I mean. The acquisition and the game were expensive and I'm sure MS ran the numbers and came to the conclusion that it didn't meet expectations/metrics and that offering it elsewhere they'd still make money. PS players want it. Maybe even Switch2?

A common thing I've been seeing people say is the strategy of a GamePass machine where the games are free (with GP) or players can pay the $80 on PS after a year exclusivity ends.

 

At one point a couple months ago I considered picking up an Xbox series but now I’m glad I did not lol

 

There was a dude that clowned me constantly on here for suggesting MS would make Starfield multiplatform lol. It just makes business sense it was inevitable

 

I picked up the series x for $349 and even with this news, I'm still happy with the machine. MS first party is well worth it, GPU has a great selection and I don't wanna wait for an EVENTUAL release of Avowed on PS5.

 

That’s fair. There just haven’t been a ton of Xbox first party games that have super stood out that I felt I needed to get one for. And now the couple that I’m interested in seem to be coming to PS.

 

I think the big thing here is, it’s not just going to be Starfield. I’d say there’s a very high chance Bethesda games launch on both consoles going forward.


If Indiana Jones actually hits Q4 2024 you’ll see it on PS5 by next summer

 

I think the only exclusive that I cared to try is Forza Horizon so hoping that comes over too

Now that Microsoft is putting their games on Sony's consoles and Sony is putting their games on PC, we need them both to come to the ultimate conclusion of putting both their games on Nintendo's consoles.

It makes sense to have their games everywhere as that’s been the goal. Future games can be viewed as timed exclusives I guess.
