When I was in college I pretended to go to Rollins to be able to hang out in Winter Park.

 

30ish minutes. We play basketball there a lot.

 

grew up there unfortunately. had to go back for a funeral a few months ago and it looked totally different though.

 

One of my best friends growing up was from there too.

 

Brevard in general has had some of the most explosive Florida growth. We used to call it Titus Vegas as a joke about how there was nothing to do there.

 

My friends and I would sometimes go to Walmart for fun because that was the only thing open past 9. And the Walmart was in Bainbridge lol

 

excited to see some of your reactions to this when you get to it

 

Why didn't we go see a movie together?

 

i vaguely only remember one theater in town (i lived there from 92-96) and i remember seeing lion king there.

 

the transition to the red screen might be the single best directorial moment i saw this year. jesus christ. probably my second favorite movie theater experience of the year and i hope to never have to think about this movie again.

 

Still have not seen any of Glazer’s films. Just watched “The Fall”, which was cool. Doing Sexy Beast now. Seems fun.

I am probably going to go to Orlando on Sunday to bother the Guitar Center people so I will see this one then.

I am trying to make some music where I play every instrument. I have a Telecaster, a Precision Bass, and a Roland TR-06 drum machine.

 

I don’t feel like I can say I loved this or anything but it will probably never really leave me. How can something be so vile yet so restrained? An accomplishment

 

There is a TV series remake on Paramount+ that just got released this week. Haven't seen it yet though

 

I had a visible expression of disgust throughout most of the film. It’s visceral

 

Now is like Come and See levels of visceral unshakable disgust?

 

Well, no, but it’s incredible in how it evokes a reaction without showing any of the violence.
