Starks is almost 34. I think he would struggle in WWE due to size, age and the fact that he has floundered in AEW comparatively to other successful additions like Jade and Cody. WWE has more than enough younger talent in NXT that can be pushed that they don’t need Starks.

I disagree about the age argument, look at LA Knight

I think Ricky needs more work and also LA almost wasn’t even a thing/was booked horribly when he first came over. He is more the exception than the rule. I think with Vince out, younger talent is definitely going to have more focus in the future.

he still stumbles in live promos and stuff, PC could def help there

I do think Ricky will end up in WWE with the Cody influence and WWE recently taking chances on AEW stars. Ricky is talented and oozes charisma, however, will end up lost in the shuffle.

A TNA or NJPW run may benefit him.

collision is a fun show most weeks, they clearly have the depth on the roster for 4 hours of wrestling each week. its that 5th hour that begins to become grating and there are only so many multi man matches you can slot vikingo and komander in each week before I want to jump off of a bridge. I miss the Dark era

  9. They might as well not even run Collision on weekends of WWE PPVs

Collision's biggest issue as a program is that, since they lost Punk, they've struggled to make it matter within the context of the company as a whole. I realize there are guys like Miro, FTR, HOB who basically reside there, but that isn't a draw. It's basically "here's some wrestling!" for two hours. That doesn't work. You can barely scrape by doing that for an hour, let alone two.

You could never watch a single moment of Collision, tune in exclusively to Dynamite, and be well-versed in all of AEW's important angles leading into a PPV.

It's Smackdown with no brand split. Completely irrelevant.

A lot of it is just timing. He was super hot when he was feuding with MJF and Tony didn’t pull the trigger. Probably the right move because then MJF went on his great run. However Tony did nothing to help Ricky after that. He could have been in another big feud but he just disappeared. Then he was getting hot with the Punk stuff and then Punk was gone. At least he has something to do now but he could’ve been bigger

To that point, AEW is king of the start-stop push with hot acts, and it ruins almost every single one of them, Starks being one of the more notable ones. He's been cut off at the heels every single time he's gained momentum just by...not being on shows.

I’ve enjoyed Collision more than Dynamite since the Continental Classic started.

well-put, and it's a little worse: it's pre-brand split Smackdown, with a brand split! no FTR or HoB on Wednesdays outside of rare exceptions, so FTR and HoB are being watched by 400k a week in a company that gets 1.5 mill across three shows (though there's def a lot of repeat viewers in there). if travesties didn't exist, it'd be a travesty

Danielson has been only on Collision since the new year, but the consistency of which guys appear on that show is part of the problem. It was Christian before him & Edge until this past week. Now Moxley's having matches there.

The HoB related merch designs are usually pretty great given their relationship with the hardcore scene.

    I'd wear it tbh

The issue with collision is literally just the day. They put out banger after banger of matches on there. I don’t watch live because it’s Saturday but I’ve rarely watched collision and been like “eh that was t worth my time.” With AEW’s arrival I’m just realizing more that what I value in wrestling is purely between the ropes because I don’t care about bad story lines in AEW because the matches continue to be good to great each week across all their programming.
