Am I misremembering or weren’t 6-7 players accused? Either way wild to see this all finally unfold.

 

From what I've seen that was the number accused but speculation is they may not have had sufficient evidence to charge the other players

 

I think it was 8 players total. One player had consensual activity with the woman, but then let 7 players in and that’s where things got inappropriate from what was released of her statement.

 

Apparently they did not do their due diligence on Foote as was reported

 

But guessing based on the evidence or the specific actions of each player, they could only bring criminal charges against five players. There was a civil settlement already with Canada hockey.

 

this is what I mean. Just go sign literally ANYONE else. Cal Foote is a plug AHLer. Why even go there?

Relegation

 

Unreal that Mrazek has been so good this year given the absolutely dire situation in front of him night in and night out this year. Unfortuantely Soderblom has struggled mightily and Commesso is not ready so it made sense to re-sign.

Would have been nice to flip these guys for picks, but I get that you need at least serviceable players to help get our prospects up and running. These contracts will term out when it is time for Bedard and Korchinski to get new contracts as well
